The cluster analysis session was one of the most popular of the our 2020 conference. At Frontier, cluster analysis is being used to better understand how the alternatives sub-sectors interact both with each other and other asset classes. This identifies potential for hidden beta or similarities with other strategies, helps assess diversification within portfolios and looks at how new strategies will assimilate into portfolios. All contributing to different portfolio designs and superior outcomes.
