Alexandra Campbell

Alexandra Campbell is Deputy CIO and Head of Private Markets at Cbus. She has extensive experience in the infrastructure sector, having held senior roles in funds management and superannuation, as well as on the boards of key infrastructure assets.

As a senior investment director with AustralianSuper, Alex was a key contributor to the investment and management of a A$20 billion infrastructure portfolio, held through a range of direct and fund strategies within Australia and off-shore. Before joining AustralianSuper, Alex was a founding principal for a boutique advisory firm that provided bespoke asset management, principal investment and strategic advice to a range of investors, operators and other stakeholders in the infrastructure sector. Prior to this, Alex held senior roles with Hastings Funds Management, largely focusing on originations, asset management and portfolio strategies for listed funds. Alex started her career as a solicitor with Herbert Smith Freehills, with a focus on capital markets and mergers & acquisitions.
Alex has held multiple board positions, including for NSW Ports, Perth Airport, Northern Territory Airports, Queensland Airports, Port of Geelong and Metro Transport Sydney. Alex has also held roles on investor advisory boards and committees.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Business and Laws (hons) and a Masters of Applied Finance.
