Nicola Yeomans

Nicola Yeomans co-leads the firm’s global Private Capital practice and is based in Singapore. She specialises in private equity and asset management across Asia, supporting clients with acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, fundraisings and real asset projects.

Nicola is ranked by Chambers Global, Chambers Asia Pacific and Who’s Who Legal as a leading M&A lawyer. She was recognised by Asian Legal Business as the only international law firm finalist for Southeast Asia Woman Lawyer of the Year, and in 2019 was a finalist for Euromoney’s Female Asia Pacific M&A Lawyer of the Year.
Recent engagements include advising:
  • PSP on transactions across Asia Pacific including coinvestment with KKR on a commercial office tower in Singapore; and PSP’s coinvestment with Macquarie Asset Management on the acquisition of Towers Bersama in Indonesia.
  • EQT Infrastructure on the acquisition of Icon Group, the regional cancer care provider and ongoing portfolio management of the Singapore business; and on the acquisition of MetLifecare in New Zealand including Singapore structuring and funding arrangements.
  • OMERS on its US$1b coinvestment with FountainVest Private Equity for the acquisition of Rokin Logistics, a leading logistics provider in China.
  • AustralianSuper on its commitment to National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, India’s largest infrastructure investment fund anchored by the Government of India, with co-investment from ADIA, Temasek, OTPP, PSP and US DFC.
  • Temasek on transactions across Asia Pacific including its investment in PT Diamond in Indonesia; and Singapore club consortium arrangements with Hosen Capital and New Hope for the S$1b acquisition of VIP Petfoods in Australia from Quadrant Private Equity.
  • S$16b takeover of SGX listed Global Logistics Properties by a confidential LP in consortium with Hopu Logistics, Hillhouse Capital, Vanke and others.
