Viktor Shvets is the Head of Asian Strategy as well as Global Coordinator of Equity Strategy and joined Macquarie in Hong Kong in January 2013.
Viktor has 30 years of equity research experience across various sectors and markets, including Australia, Asia, US domestic and EEMEA. His most recent position was as the Head of Thematic research at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong and in the past Viktor was also employed by various major Banks, including Deutsche Bank (Hong Kong and the US), Barings (Australia), DLJ (Europe) and Lehman Brothers/Nomura (Europe).
Viktor has a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney and Master of Commerce from the University of NSW. He is also Fellow CPA.
