Desmond Tam joined Frontier in 2020 as an Associate before being promoted to Consultant in 2021.
He is a member of the Liability-Driven Investment and Government segment, providing consulting support to a number of general insurance clients.
Before joining Frontier, Desmond spent two years at EY in their Banking & Capital Markets sector, advising financial services clients on a broad range of market and credit risk issues. Prior to this, he also worked at Suncorp Group in their general insurance division, where he spent two years in various capital, reserving and pricing roles. Desmond holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) (Hons) from the University of Melbourne. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia (FIAA) and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA).
