He has been a key driver of the build out of the Fund’s internalisation strategy, which involves bringing a significant portion of funds management in-house.

Brett has responsibility for equities, credit, fixed interest, cash and absolute return strategies.

Prior to joining Cbus in 2013, Brett has worked in asset consulting, funds management, and research, including roles with Frontier Investment Consulting, Challenger, UniSuper and Lonsec. Prior to moving into the investment side Brett worked in the superannuation group at KPMG. Brett holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) with Distinction, a Master of Applied Finance and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Science (Applied Statistics).
