The COVID-19 economic downturn developed quickly but as 2020 draws to a close we look at a future economic recovery. Our modelling examines what possible paths that recovery could take; the shape, speed and duration of a recovery; and what the implications for investment returns might be. It may be possible that an economic recovery may not translate into strong equity returns.
