The 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are designed to facilitate a transition to a sustainable path of development for the planet by the year 2030. The SDGs were adopted in 2015 by all 193 member states of the United Nations (UN) and continue decades of UN-led efforts to further peace and prosperity for people and the planet.
